NUTRITION: Apples and More
The subject of Nutrition is one which concerns us all, and particularly how we feed not only ourselves, but the children in our care. This issue covers the pedagogical importance of nutrition, mealtimes, cooking, the content of the food we eat, the seven grains and setting good habits for eating together, the way we prepare food with the children, and our gratitude for what we eat.
There are many apple recipes included, as well as information on apples, apple pressing for juice, apple crafts, games and ring times and songs and stories.
