Weapons, Boys and Animals

The focus of this issue is on boys, guns, violent play, and more. The first article by Melissa Borden is not specifically on this subject, but speaks to us all as parents and educators, and opens our eyes to how animals, whether in tales or reality, contribute to and are part of our and our children’s lives. Whether you are a parent or educator, the theme of boys will touch you. While researching this subject further, I also came across many articles which are not necessarily Steiner oriented, but which are deeply relevant, touching and which we can all learn from. We also look at child study and the history of Hand Gesture Games of Wilma Ellersiek

May Day is the focus, in circle games, movement adventure, history, story, songs and crafts.
